Minijob at POP Office Bremen
We are looking for you!
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a reliable and culturally interested person on a minijob basis to support us in the area of office organization, communication and project assistance, starting August 15, 2025.
POPup MEETup: PAPERWORK
On October 1, 2024, we would like to answer your questions about taxes, GEMA (German performing rights organization), and GVL (German society for the administration of performing rights). When do I have to register my activity as a musician? Freelance or commercial? How much tax do I have to pay then? What is the difference between GEMA and GVL? And is membership even worth it?
POP Office Showcase @ Kultursommer Bremerhaven
Even though the weather outside leaves something to be desired, the festival season is starting. The POP Office, together with the Bremerhaven Cultural Office, will be at the Kultursommer next week. On June 19th, our showcase will be on stage in the pedestrian zone from 5:30 p.m. We will introduce you to the line-up below. The POP Office team will also be on site, come to the stage in downtown Bremerhaven with your questions about pop music funding or just to get to know us!

LIVEfonds 2024 – Lass Deine Live-Gigs vom POP Office fördern!
Got your live dates lined up for this year, but the cost of travel, equipment and lodging is a challenge? The POP Office funds you so that you have something left over from your fee at the end! The LIVEfonds supports musicians residing in the state of Bremen in their performances outside their home region. The aim is to enable Bremen musicians to play gigs throughout Germany.
POPup MEETup No.2
On Sat., 19.08.23 from 5:00 pm (until about 9:00 pm) our event series “POPup MEETup” goes into the second round. The event will have the focus “DIY in the music scene”. There will be a panel talk with great guests from the DIY scene and you will have the opportunity to ask all your questions to the professionals. The whole thing will take place in the Bremer Viertel. The event is free of charge!

POP Office meets Breminale! We present the opening night on SCHLEUSE on Wednesday, 12.07.! And you can be there!

Live performance at HOEG
The POP Office in cooperation with the CityInitiative Bremen and the Senator for Culture offers you the opportunity to get one of two performance slots at the HOEG CitySommerFest this summer! On Friday, 30.06. or Saturday, 01.07. you can show your musical skills in the afternoon from 15:30 on the Domshof!
